Simple volumes were my inspiration for Regolo, a design accessible to a wide audience, while still featuring surprising details like the combination of leather and velvet. A perfect example of my idea of rock.
For Fabio Novembre, furniture makers’son, the word Busnelli has always been equivalent to sofa, a synonym of sorts sofa, of living. Trying to revive a great brand from the past immediately seemed an interesting project to him (‘I am always on the side of those who try’), as did the ‘rock your home’ concept (‘I am a child of the 70s’). But what is rock for Novembre? The overlap between life and work, without there being a clear separation between them, in a creative intermingling in which one gives oneself at every level at 360 degrees.
A precious fabric strip customised with the Busnelli monogram outlines the silhouette of the two-sided cushions in the monogram version, making them a fashionable element of the composition.
The possibility to choose and combine fabrics, coverings and accessories at will, makes Regolo eclectic and always unique.
The blade-shaped foot, painted in Busnelli’s exclusive shade colour, is a unique characteristic of the Regolo system: an element that gives lightness and character to a key protagonist of the home’s interiors.
